Like the county and city facilities, it accepts first-time and child applications only — eligible adult renewals go by mail. Passport acceptance at USPS locations is by appointment through the online scheduler, and this branch offers passport photos on site, so you can handle the picture and the paperwork together. If Postal Service slots are full when you need one, remember Edinburg has two other appointment-based counters — the District Clerk and City Secretary — within a couple of miles.
