📖 About this office
F. Franklin Moon Library sits on the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry campus at 1 Forestry Drive, just uphill from Syracuse University. Its passport office is a quiet, campus-friendly alternative to the busier downtown and postal counters, and it welcomes the general public, not only students and staff.
State Department–authorized agents in the library distribute forms, review documents, accept completed applications and forward them to the regional processing center. It is an easy pick for anyone near University Hill who would rather not fight downtown parking.
Service is by appointment with the library's passport agent. If the campus calendar is tight around exams, the wider list of Syracuse offices gives you fallback options.
💡 Good to know
Campus parking is limited on weekdays, so ask about visitor spaces when you book. Bring your DS-11, an original citizenship document and photo ID, and expect the agent to seal your application before it leaves the building. Prefer somewhere off campus? Browse the full Syracuse acceptance list.
