The Seattle Midtown Post Office, steps from Pike Place Market and downtown Seattle's waterfront, is the city's flagship USPS passport acceptance facility. Situated at 301 Union Street in the heart of the central business district, it draws applicants from across King County who value its central location and convenient transit access via the Westlake and University Street Link stations.
Passport applications are accepted by appointment only — book your slot at tools.usps.com/rcas.htm or call (206) 748-5417. First-time applicants and those applying for minor passports must appear in person with a completed DS-11 form, proof of citizenship, a valid photo ID, one compliant passport photo, and the applicable government fees. Renewal applications that qualify for DS-82 mail-in processing can also be initiated here.
The office does not offer on-site passport photos, so plan to pick one up at a nearby drugstore or photo shop beforehand.
