📖 About this office
The Draper Post Office at 12180 S 300 E sits in the eastern residential corridor of Draper, making it the most accessible USPS acceptance point for residents in the 84020 zip code. As a federally authorized acceptance facility, this post office can process DS-11 applications for first-time adult and child passports, with staff trained to review documentation before forwarding completed packages to the National Passport Processing Center.
USPS acceptance at this location operates by appointment, booked through the USPS online scheduler at tools.usps.com. Appointments fill quickly during spring and early summer — the peak travel-planning window — so securing a slot several weeks in advance is wise. The office can also provide guidance on submitting passport renewal applications by mail for eligible travelers who qualify under DS-82 rules.
Draper's Post Office serves a rapidly growing community that has expanded significantly over the past decade, and wait times for appointments can be longer during holiday seasons. Residents should consult the Draper passport page for all local options, or review the full Utah passport services guide if the Draper office does not have availability matching their travel timeline.
💡 Good to know
Book your USPS passport appointment at tools.usps.com/rcas/ well in advance, as slots at Draper Post Office fill quickly during travel season. Do not sign your DS-11 form before arriving — the acceptance agent must witness your signature in person.
