📖 About this office
Clackamas County Records Management runs a passport acceptance desk out of its office on Red Soils Court, part of the county's Development Services campus just off Beavercreek Road. This is the government-run counterpart to the post office in town, and for many locals it is the more flexible option because it keeps both scheduled and set walk-in windows during the week.
The team here verifies your identity and citizenship documents, witnesses your signature on the DS-11, and forwards the packet to the U.S. Department of State for processing. The passport book or card itself is produced federally and mailed to you; nothing is printed at the counter. Staff can help first-time applicants and families sorting out paperwork for minors.
If you prefer a county office to a retail post office, this is the spot. Compare it with the Molalla Avenue branch and the rest of what we list on the Oregon City page, or browse other towns across the state on our Oregon directory.
💡 Good to know
Walk-ins are offered on Wednesdays, but appointments Monday through Thursday give you a guaranteed slot and shorter wait. The office is closed Fridays, so plan mid-week visits. For the nearby USPS alternative, check the listings on our Oregon City guide.
