UNCW Passport Services is an officially designated U.S. passport acceptance facility operated by the University of North Carolina Wilmington, open to students, faculty, staff, and members of the broader Wilmington community. The office is located in the Warwick Center building at 4855 Price Drive on UNCW's main campus, in the southern part of the city near Wrightsville Beach Road.
Unlike USPS locations that rely purely on federal appointment slots, UNCW Passport Services offers both walk-in hours and appointment-based sessions during the academic year and summer terms. During the fall and spring semesters, walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with appointments available in the afternoon. Summer hours shift slightly; walk-ins run Monday through Thursday through late morning, with Friday walk-ins offered in the early morning only. The office closes on state and university holidays.

UNCW Passport Services is open to all Wilmington-area residents—you do not need to be a student or employee. Bring your completed DS-11 form (do not sign it in advance), original proof of U.S. citizenship with a photocopy, a valid photo ID, and the federal government fee payable to the U.S. Department of State.
