📖 About this office
The Concord Post Office sits on Loudon Road just east of the Merrimack River, a short drive from downtown and the State House district. It is the only passport acceptance facility inside the state capital, so it handles a steady flow of first-time and child applications from across Concord and the surrounding Merrimack County towns.
Staff review your citizenship documents, witness your signature and forward the application for processing; passport photos can be taken on site in the same visit, which saves a separate stop. Because this is a designated acceptance agent, it processes applications for a new passport (Form DS-11) rather than simple renewals you can mail yourself. The full checklist of statewide fees and document requirements lives on the New Hampshire passport guide.
💡 Good to know
Appointments are booked through the USPS online scheduler at tools.usps.com; the office also offers limited Saturday passport hours that go fast. There is lot parking at the location. Arrive with your DS-11 completed but unsigned — you sign in front of the agent. See more Concord details on the city page.
