Western Kentucky University runs a passport acceptance office on the ground floor of the Downing Student Union, on the main campus just south of downtown. Despite the campus setting, it is open to the general public — not only students, faculty, and staff — and it provides the forms and passport photos needed to complete an application in person. That makes it a practical alternative for anyone living or working near the university side of the city.
The office accepts DS-11 applications for first-time adult and child passports and, like every acceptance facility, requires an appointment. If you find campus parking and hours easier than the downtown counter, this is a solid choice within Bowling Green.
