📖 About this office
Valley Ranch Station sits in one of Irving's most recognizable planned communities — the master-developed Valley Ranch neighborhood along N. MacArthur Blvd near the Las Colinas corridor. This USPS branch is the go-to acceptance point for residents of North Irving, Coppell, and the surrounding master-planned enclaves who want to avoid the longer drive to the main post office across town.
Passport appointments are available Monday through Friday and on Saturday mornings; limited walk-in slots open Tuesday through Thursday in the mid-afternoon. Like all USPS acceptance offices, agents here verify your identity, witness your form DS-11 signature, and forward your application package to a regional processing center — the mandatory in-person step for every new or replacement passport. Photocopy services are not available, so arrive with a complete document set prepared in advance.
North Irving applicants can review all available locations on the Irving passport offices page, and the full state overview is at our Texas passport acceptance guide.
💡 Good to know
Valley Ranch Station's mid-afternoon walk-in window (Tue–Thu, 3–4 PM) is one of the few in Irving without a pre-booked slot — useful if your schedule is unpredictable, though showing up early is wise since these windows close once the queue fills. Applicants traveling internationally within 14 calendar days should bypass acceptance offices entirely and book directly with the Dallas Passport Agency in downtown Dallas, roughly 25 minutes east via TX-114, where same-day and next-business-day issuance is available by appointment for urgent cases.
