📖 About this office
Texas Tech University runs a passport acceptance office through its Office of International Affairs at 601 Indiana Avenue, on the west side of campus. It is a natural fit for the thousands of Red Raiders, faculty, and staff preparing for study abroad, research trips, or conference travel, and it keeps the whole process close to class.
The office accepts DS-11 applications, takes passport photos, and can guide first-time applicants through the paperwork. Because it serves a busy international student population, the staff are well versed in tight travel deadlines and expedited requests tied to visa and program dates.
Appointments are required and can be arranged by phone at 806-742-3760 or by emailing oia.passports@ttu.edu; walk-ins are not accepted. Confirm current eligibility and hours when you book, since campus schedules follow the university calendar.
💡 Good to know
Because the office follows the academic calendar, availability tightens before study-abroad deadlines and thins out during breaks, so book early. If you are not affiliated with the university or need an off-campus option, review the other Lubbock acceptance facilities instead.
