The New Tampa Post Office serves the fast-growing New Tampa area along Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, close to the University of South Florida and the surrounding Wesley Chapel corridor. For residents on the north side of the city, it is a far shorter trip than driving downtown or out to the airport.
This branch accepts DS-11 passport applications strictly by appointment. A State-authorized clerk reviews your documents, watches you sign the form, and sends the packet on for processing, which is exactly what first-time applicants and minors need to do in person.
Because it is a smaller neighborhood office, slots are limited and book up during spring and summer travel season, so plan a couple of weeks ahead when you can.
