Florida State University's International Programs office is a State Department-designated passport acceptance facility, and despite its campus setting it is open to the wider public - not just students and staff. For anyone near the FSU campus in southwest Tallahassee, it can be the most convenient acceptance point of all.
The office accepts applications for both the passport book and the passport card, covering first-time adults, minors, and community members alike. It is a natural fit for study-abroad students racing a semester deadline, but the same appointment slots are open to any resident of Leon County or the wider Florida region.
Passport photos are taken on site for a low fee, and because service is by appointment the office can keep the process brief and focused.
